Carrera RC highlights in 2013

2013-02-01
Carrera RC with impressive designs and several great theme licenses

In 2013 we will continue to expand our portfolio of cars, boats and helicopters, featuring the latest and most modern technology available. We have provided impressive proof that creativity in Carrera RC products is not limited to technological innovation, as can be seen by checking out the latest RC models for 2013 which appear with uniquely stunning designs and stylish looks.

Of course, in the new Carrera RC year the numerous licensed themes are as important as ever. The exclusive license with Red Bull has rendered the production of two buggies for 2013. Both of them turn heads with their great looks and amazing driving characteristics. The blend of classic buggy and dashing racer makes these ‘Ready-to-Run Red Bull models breathtaking beauties. The new MINI All 4 Dakar, Ford Fiesta WRC and Polizei Porsche also guarantee awe-struck stares. One particularly striking member of the Carrera RC crew this year is ‘Mario’, probably the world’s most famous plumber, from the popular ‘Mario Kart™7’ video game series, who will be tearing round living rooms and bedrooms all over the world.

2.4 GHz Digital Proportional

2.4 GHz Digital Proportional is the ultimate class of Carrera RC technology and unites the very latest technology with supreme quality and guarantees superlative RC action. All 1:10 and 1:12 scale models, the Ferrari Arno XI boat and the helicopter fleet, can be controlled smoothly and steplessly around 360°, and react precisely to every movement made with the control set thanks to the built-in 2.4 GHz digital proportional technology. Absolute precision and perfect control ensure there’ll always be action-packed driving thrills.

2.4 GHz Servo Tronic

Innovative technology meets spectacular design! There are lots of new items in the Carrera RC 2.4 GHz Servo Tronic product line for 2013. In contrast to conventional ‘Full Function’ control systems, Carrera RC’s very own Servo Tronic technology enables RC drivers to enjoy multistep steering and smooth driving functionality. Obviously, this technology has been integrated into the latest Carrera RC models, such as the Carrera RC Red Bull NX1 Buggy. However, by no means are great design and the latest technology solely the domain of the buggies, as several offroad vehicles also benefit from these features. The stocky SUV-look road riders come resplendent in eye-catching paintwork and, whether they’re road cruising or out in rough terrain, they automatically take centre stage. One spectacular highlight and star of the Servo Tronic series is the Turnator; a 360° flip-over acrobat whose differential controls enable it to complete amazing driving manoeuvres and perform breathtaking tricks. The two completely separate axles allow the Turnator to perform stunning stunts and it can even flip over on command.

27 MHz

The 27 MHz series team has also been hard at work and can unveil a number of brand new creations in Carrera RC designs. The powerful engines generate top speeds of up to 12km/h and this series is an ideal introduction for budding RC fans looking to explore the world of Carrera RC. All ‘Ready-to-Run’ models are fitted with an Auto-OFF function which shuts the controls down after 30 minutes of inactivity. One very special member of the 2013 team is the sporty Carrera RC Red Bull RC1, which is sure to set the standards for the RC segment this year. This exclusively licensed eye-popping buggy in Red Bull clothing delivers an ultimate power sensation, both on the road and in rough terrain. The high power Li-Ion power packs provide the buggies with long running times of up to 20 minutes and short recharging breaks of just 90 minutes for extended periods of driving action.

We look forward to an exciting year 2013!
