Ensuring the helicopter is correctly ‘trimmed in’ is the basic requirement for stable flight operation. This fine tuning requires patience and a fine tactile sensitivity. Please be aware of the following: Move the throttle upwards carefully and allow the helicopter to rise 30cm – 80cm into the air.
1. If while hovering the helicopter rotates around its own axis by itself, either clockwise or anticlockwise, without moving the tail end lever (circular rotation), please proceed as follows:
If the helicopter rotates to the left around its own axis, whether quickly or slowly, push the bottom right trimmer for the tail end (circular rotation) to the right step-by-step. If the helicopter rotates to the right, push the trimmer for the tail end (circular rotation) to the left step-by-step.
2. If while hovering the helicopter moves forwards or backwards without touching the forwards/backwards lever, please proceed as follows:
If the helicopter moves forwards by itself, either quickly or slowly, push the upper right forwards/backwards trimmer down step-by-step. If the helicopter moves backwards, press the forwards/backwards trimmer upwards step-by-step.

1. If while hovering the helicopter flies forward or backwards, to the left or to the right, without moving the right/left lever, please proceed as follows:
If the helicopter moves to the left either quickly or slowly, push the bottom right trimmer for right/left lean step-by-step to the right. If the helicopter moves to the right, push the bottom right trimmer for right/left lean step-by-step to the left.
2. If while hovering the helicopter remains above one spot and rotates either clockwise or anticlockwise without moving the lever for the tail end (circular rotation) please proceed as follows:
If the helicopter rotates to the left around its own axis, whether quickly or slowly, push the bottom left trimmer for the tail end (circular rotation) to the right step-by-step. If the helicopter rotates to the right, push the trimmer for the tail end (circular rotation) to the left step-by-step. Checking the trimming as in point 1 can also help to solve the problem.
3. If while hovering the helicopter moves forwards or backwards without touching the forwards/backwards lever, please proceed as follows:
If the helicopter moves forwards quickly or slowly, push the upper right forwards/backwards trimmer down step-by-step. If the helicopter moves backwards, push the forwards/backwards trimmer upwards step-by-step.
Please make absolutely sure the boat’s propellers are not working out of the water. The boat cannot be used on land.
For more information see the current edition of the downloadable operating instructions at carrera-rc.com
1) Check to make sure the balance bar is correctly attached to the upper end of the rotor shaft. The balance bar is attached with a rounded head to minimise crash damage to the rotor, so that it can separate from the rotor shaft and the upper rotor blade.
2) Slot the balance bar vertically into the special slot opening at the top of the rotor shaft. Make sure the paddle rod has been slotted in completely.
3) At the side, attach the balance bar guide to one of the two rounded heads above the upper rotor.
Check again to make sure the newly attached parts have been attached firmly and correctly. If required, adjust the helicopter set-up, as in the instructions on pages 6 & 7, until it regains its stable, neutral position in hover mode without moving the control lever.
If you continue to experience this problem, please contact our ‘customer service’ department.
If you have lost your balance bar, simply order a replacement from customer service. For more information – go to the ‘spare parts list’ in the ‘service’ area of our website.

Follow the ‘pre-flight checklist’ to prepare the helicopter for take-off:
- Slot in the power pack in the slot provided on the undercarriage of the helicopter, as described in the instructions.
- Place the charged helicopter on a flat and even surface and give the helicopter a few moments until the system is correctly initialised and ready for operation.
- The LED in the helicopter now flashes in a rhythmically accelerated sequence.
- Slowly and carefully move the left joystick upwards and downwards two times to activate the existing connection.
- The LED in the helicopter should now be permanently lit up. The helicopter is now ready for action.
- If the helicopter does not work at all, go to the instructions for ‘connecting the model to the control unit’ and follow the steps described.

Please check the ON/OFF switch on the control set or on the car. Switch it ON.
Make sure the battery inserted in the car is fully charged and not too weak.
The lack of a battery or the presence of a flat battery in the control set can be reasons for a car to fail.
The overheating protection system may also stop the car if it is developing too much heat . If this happens, please switch off the receiver - the car - and allow it to cool down for approx. 30 minutes.
For 27 MHz models: ensure you have set up the same channels for the car and the control set.
In diesem Fall wechseln Sie bitte Ihre Frequenz.
This Carrera RC car has been purely designed for hobby use and may only be used on recommended circuits, surfaces and in recommended conditions.
ATTENTION! Never use Carrera RC cars in real traffic. Never use the car near rivers, streams, ponds, puddles or lakes to ensure the Carrera RC car does not land in water.
Never operate this product on grassy surfaces. Grass can get caught up in the axles and cause overheating in the engine.
Do not drive under electric power lines or TV/radio masts, or during thunderstorms! Atmospheric disturbances can lead to signal transmission and reception problems.
No! Never try to use your Carrera RC car in rain or snow.
For 2.4 GHz D/P models:
The frequency bind between the Carrera RC car and the control set is set up during manufacture. If you experience initial problems in the communication between the Carrera RC car and the control set, please re-bind the car and controls. The Carrera RC car and the control set can be re-bound by pressing the binding button on the underside of the chassis. The binding button must be held down for at least three seconds. Please ensure the control set is switched on during this procedure. Switch the Carrera RC on using the ON/OFF switch.
For 27 MHz models:
Please make sure nobody else is using the same frequency in the area in which you are operating. The frequency switch is located in the battery holder. To avoid interference and ensure your Carrera RC car can respond to the control set it is necessary to make sure the same frequency setting (A/B/C) has been selected on the car and the control set. The use of three different channels facilitates the operation of three cars concurrently.
Extend the control set aerial completely. Switch on the Carrera RC car using the ON/OFF switch. The Carrera RC car has two speed settings. The ON/OFF switch also allows the car to be set for training or indoor mode.
Adjusting the steering: If the Carrera RC car seems to be pulling to the left or the right, simply adjust the tracking with the switch on the underside of the car.
Yes, you are recommended to clean your Carrera RC after every use to ensure problem-free operation. Never use caustic or corrosive substances for this purpose.
